Offers & Events Marketplace

Turn Wallet Activity Into Exclusive Access

Overview

The Offers & Events Marketplace lets merchants and partners fund targeted rewards, exclusive product access, and event invitations — all tied to wallet activity. Instead of treating every customer the same, surface the right offer to the right user based on what they've actually done: loaded cash, made purchases, hit milestones, or stayed active over time.

Offers and events are configured per-merchant and delivered directly within the wallet experience. Customers see what they've unlocked, what's available, and what they need to do to qualify for more.

Merchant & Partner-Funded Rewards

Configure rewards funded by your business or by partners who want access to your customer base.

  • Merchant-Funded Offers: Create offers funded from your own budget — percentage discounts, flat-dollar credits, or bonus cashback on specific product categories. Tie eligibility to wallet behaviors like minimum balance, recent purchase, or first-time load.

  • Partner-Funded Offers: Let brand partners sponsor rewards for your wallet users. A sneaker brand sponsors a $10 credit for users who load $50+. A food delivery service offers free delivery to your most active wallets. Partners fund the reward; you control distribution and targeting.

  • Action-Based Triggers: Rewards unlock based on specific user actions — first wallet load, 5th purchase, referral completion, or hitting a spending threshold. The trigger logic is configurable per offer.

  • Time-Bound Campaigns: Run offers with start and end dates, daily caps, or limited redemption counts. Create urgency without permanent margin impact.

Exclusive Product & Event Access

Give your most engaged wallet users access to things non-wallet customers can't get.

  • Early Access Windows: Open product launches or sales events to qualifying wallet users before the general public. Eligibility based on balance, purchase history, or tier.

  • Event Invitations: Invite wallet users to in-store events, brand experiences, or virtual exclusives. Entry is gated by wallet activity — users who've loaded cash, made recent purchases, or maintained a streak get priority.

  • Limited-Inventory Products: Reserve allocation of limited products for wallet users. Users who meet the activity threshold get access to purchase; everyone else sees a waitlist or sold-out state.

  • Tiered Access Levels: Create multiple access tiers based on engagement depth. Casual users see basic offers. Power users unlock premium events, early access, and partner exclusives.

Use Cases

Partner-Funded Product Credit

A brand partner sponsors a wallet credit for users who purchase from a new collection during launch week. The partner funds every redemption; the merchant controls who sees it — targeting only high-conversion segments like repeat buyers. The merchant earns a distribution fee on every claim and takes zero financial risk on the reward.

Exclusive Early Access

Wallet users who meet a balance threshold get early access to a limited product release before it goes public. Promoting the threshold ahead of time turns every launch into a wallet funding event — users load cash just to qualify, and that money stays in the ecosystem for future purchases.

Supplier-Funded Sampling

A supplier sponsors free product samples for active wallet users. Users claim the offer in-app and receive a credit redeemable only on that specific product at checkout. The supplier pays per claim, the merchant rings the full price, and a meaningful percentage of claimers convert to repeat buyers at full price — turning a one-time sample into an ongoing customer.

VIP Event Invitation

Invite your highest-value wallet users to exclusive in-store or virtual events — ranked by lifetime spend, purchase frequency, or engagement level. Invitations appear as in-app cards with one-tap RSVP. A curated, high-intent audience drives significantly higher per-person spend than a general admission event.

Monthly Engagement Challenge

Users complete a set of actions to unlock a mystery reward — load cash, make a purchase, refer a friend. The reward value is hidden until completion, creating anticipation that drives higher completion rates than fixed-value offers. Challenges re-engage inactive users while generating multiple high-value actions per participant.

Post-Purchase Cross-Sell

After a user completes a wallet purchase, they immediately see a time-limited offer for a complementary product — accessories after a shoe purchase, a side dish after an entree, a case after a phone. The offer expires within days, creating urgency while the buyer is still in a spending mindset. Funded by the merchant or by the complementary brand as a co-marketing placement.

Win-Back Offer for Lapsed Users

Users who haven't transacted in a configurable window automatically receive a wallet credit with a short expiration — framed as a "we miss you" offer. The credit re-appears in their wallet with a countdown timer, driving them back into the app. One-time issuance per user prevents gaming. The cost of the credit is a fraction of the cost of acquiring a net-new customer.

How It Works

  1. Configure Offers: Set up offers in the merchant dashboard — define the reward (credit, discount, access), funding source (merchant or partner), eligibility rules (wallet activity triggers), and campaign window.

  2. Target Users: Offers are surfaced to eligible users based on their wallet behavior. Users who don't yet qualify see what they need to do to unlock the offer.

  3. Deliver In-Wallet: Offers appear as cards within the wallet experience — no separate app, no external links. Users tap to claim, and the reward is applied to their wallet or redeemed at checkout.

  4. Track & Optimize: Monitor offer performance — claim rates, redemption rates, incremental spend driven, and partner ROI. Use data to refine targeting and reward amounts for future campaigns.

Integration with Wallet System

The Offers & Events Marketplace is built on top of Accrue's Wallet and Incentive Engine:

  • Wallet Activity as Eligibility: Every offer uses wallet data (balance, load history, purchase count, streak status) as the eligibility criteria. No separate loyalty program to manage.

  • Instant Reward Delivery: Claimed rewards are deposited directly into the wallet as spendable credits — same balance, same checkout flow.

  • Closed-Loop Tracking: Track the full lifecycle from offer impression → claim → redemption → subsequent purchase, all within the closed-loop wallet ecosystem.

  • Partner Settlement: Partner-funded rewards are tracked separately for clean invoicing and settlement. Partners see exactly how many users claimed, redeemed, and what incremental activity resulted.

The Offers & Events Marketplace turns wallet activity into a distribution channel. Merchants create urgency and exclusivity. Partners reach high-intent customers. Users get rewarded for behavior they're already doing.
